A printing plate, ink, paper, and pressure. Traditional printing technology brings together these four elements to create a beautiful book. The tools used to make a book can be nearly as beautiful as the book itself.
This exhibition is an installation that presents the combined elements of printing type, printing plate (relief), and illustration (print) used for famous books such as Galileo's Astronomical Dialog and Dante's Divine Comedy.
