The Vatican Library was established more than 500 years ago. Nurtured by the faith of many millions, the library holds one of the world's most prominent collections, including the precious Bibles ever produced.
This exhibit features a number of religious manuscripts and the first letterpress-printed editions of the Gospels (New Testament), on loan from the Vatican collection.
The commentary systematically explains the evolution of printing from the production of manuscripts to Gutenberg and the beginning of letterpress printing.
