Library Reception Counter Library Reception Counter

The reception counter accepts request slips from visitors who wish to peruse or copy works in the library collection. Please consult us if you have any questions.

Bookshelves (Closed stacks)

The library was initially designed and constructed as a data warehouse for the museum. When the museum decided to open the library to the public, the book stacks were too narrow for public browsing. Here you see what things are like now.

Many books remain on the shelves, yet to be recorded in digital form.

·Book searches
Though some books may not be available for direct perusal, our search database can perform content searches of all publications in the library collection. You can perform your searches here, and later ask the reception to see the actual hard copy.

·Information Mill
The Information Mill has four menus: a full database on printing, an introduction to the library data classified by theme, a convenient museum guide, and the activity schedule. The introduction to the library data includes introductions to various works in the museum collection.

·CD-ROM
