A Message from the Director

Jul. 7, 2015

The theme is 'weave'!

Once again the time has come to enjoy the "Graphic Trial" held every summer. The 2015 trial will be the tenth held. We'll show you development.

Four two-member teams, each with a creator and printing director, will work with refined offset printing technologies on collaborative works. The teams will be assigned a unique challenge (trial) and asked to achieve it by exploiting the texture of paper in a dynamic design.

The artists have all been recruited, including Kazumasa Nagai, a leader in Japan's graphic design world. Their creations will expand into the idea and great skill as it weave thread to cloth. Please tell us your impressions once you see.
