New Trends in Packaging

Packaging was originally plain wrapping designed for carrying or preserving products. However, packaging started to play a key role as a material and in design. Over time, packaging has gained a stronger presence in society and in households – examples of well-designed packaging can be seen adorning the living room, kitchen and workplace.

P&P Gallery is currently exhibiting prize-winning works and representative works from three major packaging design contests: The Japan Package Design Award 2017, the Japan Package Competition and the Japan Packaging Contest. Throughout the exhibition, new trends and ideas in packaging are beautifully displayed; you can feel the changing of the times.

Please enjoy our packaging exhibits, which reflect modern-day trends, and kindly send us your feedback.
