90 Years of Kinder book

"Kinderbook", the monthly childcare picture book magazine, was first published in 1927. Continuing publication until today, it has marked its 90th anniversary this year. It is for 90 years that it has been kindly measuring up the expectations of children looking forward to the new edition delivered every month.

Now, we trace its steps to imagine the dreams of children. Each era's social conditions and personality contained in the many children's pictures and songs may be vividly reproduced.

In order to ascertain the origin of infant culture which now reaches its peak, I would like to look back at the roles of this picture book magazine. Every page, bookmaking, and binding of the book remind us of passions of writers, painters and editors.

For this exhibition, we have indeed received a lot of support from many people. I am writing this to express my gratitude. We look forward to hearing our visitors' comments and opinions.
