The Bicentennial Year of the H.C.Andersen Birthday

Books of Andersen's stories to be read aloud were published in 19th century Europe. Through advances in printing technology, publishers and Andersen aficionados could make these tales known to as many people as possible. From parent to child, they have been passed down to us across the borders of time and nations.
