An exhibit of Japanese and German "exchange" calendars. Japan and Germany exchange calendars chosen from their respective calendar exhibitions, and mutually review the other's. Thirty-one specially chosen masterpiece calendars from both countries are on display.
Calendar exhibitions in both countries started in the same year, 1950, and by focusing on the three basics of graphic design-printing, photography, and typography-they continue to reveal to the viewer the strong connection that calendar art has with other forms of visual expression.
