Second Half: Jul. 4, 2006 (Tue) - Jul. 30, 2006 (Sun)
10:00 - 18:00

Exploring the possibilities of offset printing, the predominant printing technique today, this exhibit presents posters diligently made by six artists. Interviews with the posters' creators help illuminate the processes that went into their production. The artists variously incorporated and coordinated such elements of offset printing as paper quality, ink color and density, and the number and order of impressions in an attempt to create a concrete visual representation of the given theme. The exhibition will be divided into two parts, with works by Keiji Ito, Yasuhiro Sawada, and Mamoru Suzuki shown in the first half, and works by Satoji Kashimoto, Ryusuke Tanaka, and Hiroki Taniguchi displayed in the second half.
