from on-demand publishing to variable printing
Mar. 24, 2018 (Sat) - Jun. 10, 2018 (Sun)
10:00 - 18:00
We will think about how printed matters around us are changing with the spreading of digital printing.
It became so common to see the name of the digital printing such as "on-demand printing" or "print on-demand".
Digital printing is different from a conventional printing in that it is a plateless printing where "plate" is not used. The data made by computer is directly output on such as a sheet of paper using digital printer.
In recent years, it has been used widely in the fields such as publication printing, commercial printing and package printing. How is printed matter spreading and how is our life changing with the development of digital printing?
We will introduce a number of examples made by digital printing.
