Exploring the Possibilities of Graphic Design through Offset Printing
Graphic Trial is an attempt to explore in depth the relationship between graphic design and printing expressions and achieve a new language in expression. It is an experimental trial where top creators demonstrate their talent in a variety of printing expressions.
The theme for the 16th exhibition is "CHANGE." The relentless changes in various aspects of life spurred by the COVID-19 pandemic herald the beginning of a new sense of value and perspective of the world lying ahead. Five creators, namely, Iyama Koji, Goo Choki Par, Kodama Aya, Tanaka Ryoji and Masunaga Yuko each expressed in five posters a form of CHANGE that they discovered as a result of the collaboration of expression and technology.
The exhibition presents the posters created by combination of creators' unique ideas and printing technologies, as well as numerous works experimented with during the process of making posters.
