Modern Japan Package 2026
Oct. 17, 2026 (Sat)–Jan. 17, 2027 (Sun)
10:00–18:00
Award-winning works from three major packaging contests
Packaging is an integral part of our daily lives, seen in everything from food and household goods to gifts and courier delivery. As one of the most familiar forms of printed media, packaging continues to evolve. Beyond its core functions–wrapping, transporting, and protecting products–it offers ease of use, aesthetic appeal, and essential information delivery. In recent years, growing attention has also been placed on eco-friendly solutions, resource circulation, ideas that make daily life more convenient, and designs that propose new user experiences.
This exhibition introduces outstanding works produced by printing, design, and packaging technologies, centered around award-winning pieces from leading packaging competitions in Japan. Through a wide variety of works–ranging from everyday food and daily item packaging to transport packaging supporting logistics–you can explore the latest trends and inventive craftsmanship developed on the front lines of production.
Packaging is filled with clever ideas that make our lives richer and more comfortable, from subtle considerations for the user to surprising mechanisms that inspire admiration. These small discoveries and pleasant surprises are among the greatest charms of packaging. We invite you to experience the ingenuity and depth of this art form at the venue, and discover the wisdom woven through printing and packaging, as well as inspiration for future craftsmanship.
