It's the time of year again for the Graphic Trial.

This year's 17th Graphic Trial featured four teams of leading creators and Toppan collaborating to explore the possibilities of printed expression. The changes wrought to our environment by the COVID pandemic have drastically altered approaches to communication. Even as we have been required to maintain a certain distance among ourselves, advances in online technology have made it easier to establish connections beyond the real world. While enjoying this convenience, we also feel that the value of opportunities and venues for direct encounters between people and between people and artworks is being reassessed.
The theme of this exhibition is "Feel." The growing reach of digital expression has prompted creators to seek out areas that can be expressed only through printing and sublimate them into posters. We hope you will place yourself in front of the works and directly feel the appeal and potential of printing using all five senses.
