*ex·pose'06 Kiyoshi Awazu's Design Mandala
Apr. 29, 2006 (Sat-holiday) - Jun. 4, 2006 (Sun)
10:00 - 18:00
Kiyoshi Awazu won fame as a pioneer of Japanese graphic design in the years following World War II. He continues to produce innovative works even now. This exhibit presents works which shed light on the ideas he has embraced through his ongoing search for meaning in graphic design and design in general. The exhibit challenges our concepts of graphic design in an age when graphic design and printing design are commonly seen as separate disciplines.
