There are a great variety of colors and grains in the wooden doors and furniture that we use in our daily lives. But looks can be deceiving! In some cases, what we take for real wood is actually something that has been covered in wood grain paper/film.

Printing techniques today make it possible to reproduce the beauty of natural wood in such detail that even upon close inspection it can be impossible to tell the difference.

From planning to printing and processing into finished products, the steps involved in creating wood grain paper/film that serves so many uses in the world today are introduced in this exhibit centering on video installations.
