GRAPHIC TRIAL 2023
-Feel-
Apr. 22, 2023 (Sat) - Jul. 9, 2023 (Sun)
10:00 - 18:00
Graphic Trial arranges for experiments (or trials) by cutting edge graphic designers to attempt to search for and discover new expressions in pursuit of a stronger relationship between graphic design and printing expression.
The theme for the 17th Graphic Trial this time is “Feel.” Even in an era when the future appears uncertain, those of us here now hope to remain positive and forward-focused, and keep our lives in a state of well-being. Through the creation of posters, we explored a “Feel” that resonates emotionally, connects to our hopes, and offers even just a bit of happiness.
At the exhibition, four designers—Kishino Shogo, Masashi Murakami, TELYUKA, and Maho Shimada—cooperated with Toppan’s Printing Director to explore the rich potential for expression through printing. The posters will combine the unique ideas and printing techniques of each designer, and we will display the completed works as well as a number of trials in the production process, thereby expressing the attractive attributes of the printing medium in an easy to understand manner.
