Modern Japan Package 2023
Sep. 30, 2023 (Sat) - Dec. 3, 2023 (Sun)
10:00 - 18:00
Award-winning works from three major packaging contests
Along with books and magazines, packaging is one of the most familiar printed materials in our daily lives. It is strongly connected to society and is undergoing daily changes, with evolving functions and designs. Because the functions of packages, namely protecting their contents, making them easy to handle, and conveying information about them to promote sales, are often associated with the SDGs, packages help solve the social issues we face. To present what has been achieved by the packaging industry to address social needs and problems to be solved, this exhibition introduces the winners of the three packaging competitions held in Japan. Exhibiting various types of packages, including those for consumer items as well as transportation packaging not intended for consumers, the exhibition will serve as a rare opportunity to get to know the world of packaging, which forms part of our daily lives.
