The book which heralded the era of massreproduced books. Thanks to the technology of letterpress printing invented by Gutenberg, accurate and inexpensive texts were made available to mankind. One piece (original leaf) of a book owned by an American collector who disassembled the book and sold it piece by piece in the early 20th century. A part of the fourth book “Numbers” of the Old Testament, five books of Moses. Black ink was used for printing. Later on, the top of the chapter was decorated with hand painted in red and blue designs.
